Two Moving Elements
Proposed Moving Elements
The first proposed moving element was for this elevator to lift and lower bringing people from the UNSW Campus up to the Gallery and into the Architecture School.
The second proposed moving element was for half the Lecture Theatre roof to open and slide back allowing light and air into the room.
NOTE: I attempted to create the moving elements, I followed many YouTube tutorials and ones that were provided to us through Moodle. However, the Lumion software I downloaded from the computer labs did not have the effects option. I downloaded the software onto another computer at home and still had the same problem. The two images above were my proposed moving elements.

The real time captures represent my theory "Architecture is the connection of non-restrictive spaces designed for social assembly" as I have created a space that combines both a learning environment with a social atmosphere. The structure is designed to be spacious, grand and sleek. There are 2 main learning levels with the lecture theatre at the top of the structure where the roof top garden is for both studying, socializing and a place to have a breath of fresh air. No space is off limits and this is shown by the lack of built walls that would normally disconnect areas from others. Students and Academic staff are able to travel anywhere at anytime with no restrictions. I decided to connect the indoor with the outdoor creating a structure that blends in with nature. I used three textures which are located at the ground floor outdoor area, Gallery counter top, and on the roof garden as a floor.
